In this presentation we give a small introduction of what is CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning) and its possible use in learning.
What is call? Computer-assisted learning for its acronym in English "CALL" is defined by Levy in 1997 as the search and study of applications of the computer in language teaching and learning.
Role of the teacher. In this part of the subject, the teacher acts as director of the class & in turn guide students, but with the difference that must be prepared in the management of current programs that may be useful to the student enough to learning using a computer.
Role of the student. In this course students gain an autodidact role that allows them to develop their skills by strengthening their knowledge with the help of the tutor.
